A little about Liam

At just 21 years of age, Liam Burrows is a truly gifted young performer.

Since his appearance as a Grand Finalist on 2011’s Australia’s Got Talent, he has performed over 250 shows and headlined at some of Australia’s most popular venues including Crown Casino Melbourne, Jupiters Casino Broadbeach, Twin Towns Services Club Coolangatta and Jupiters Townsville. He has also performed at corporate events in Hong Kong.

Liam has appeared on many television shows and at jazz events such as the Broadbeach Jazz Festival, Norfolk Island Jazz Festival, Adelaide Hill’s Jazz Festival, Noosa Jazz Festival (twice) and the Manly Jazz Festival, earning the respect of his peers and stunning the public with a mature vocal style and stage presence way beyond his years.

In 2012 Liam was thrilled to be named “Best Jazz Artist” at the MusicOz Awards. He also won 2nd Place in the Vocal Performance category of the International Unsigned-Only Music Competition.

In May 2013 year Liam won a MO Award for live performance and was also awarded an “Honourable Mention” as a Finalist in the Vocal Performance category of that year’s International Unsigned-Only Music Competition. The competition received 9,000 entries from over 100 countries.

In 2014 Liam won two awards in the International Unsigned-Only Music Competition. Second Place and an Honourable Mention. He has recently been awarded the Vocal Scholarship at Generations In Jazz 2015 and again been awarded Second Place in the International Unsigned-Only Music Competition (2015) as well as two Honourable Mentions.

Liam Burrows selected as a Semi-Finalist for 2015 Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Vocals Competition
