A little about Liam

At just 22 years of age, Liam Burrows is a truly gifted young performer.

Since his appearance as a Grand Finalist on 2011’s Australia’s Got Talent, he has performed over 300 shows and headlined at many of Australia’s most popular venues.

Liam has also appeared on many television shows and at major Jazz festivals both in Australian and overseas.
He has also performed on a number of international cruise ships.

Liam is now becoming internationally known, having performed in America, Switzerland, Hong Kong and New Zealand.

He has earned the respect of his peers and stunned the public with a mature vocal style and stage presence way beyond his years.

In 2012 he was thrilled to be named “Best Jazz Artist” at the MusicOz Awards and in 2013 he won a MO Award for live performance.

In 2012, 2014 and 2015, Liam was also awarded 2nd Place in the Vocal Performance category of the International Unsigned-Only Music Competition. The competition receives more than 9,000 entries from over 100 countries.

In 2015 he was also awarded the Vocal Scholarship at Generations In Jazz presented by James Morrison, who described him as “a great ambassador for Jazz” and was the only entrant from the Southern Hemisphere to make it through to the Semi-Finals of the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocals Competition held in Los Angeles.
